Home-style braised dog fish
Ingredients
Pig fish? Green onions and ginger? Garlic? Cooking wine? Salt? Steamed fish with coriander and soy sauce? Sesame oil and star anise
How to cook pike at home
1. Wash the fish and marinate it with cooking wine and salt.
2. Heat the pot, add a little oil, add onions and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant.
3. Fry the fish on one side over low heat and only fry the fish belly.
4. Add hot water, star anise, garlic and steamed fish soy sauce to the half-cooked fish and bring to a simmer over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer.
5. When the soup is thick and the fish is tender, turn off the heat.
6. Slowly remove the fish and place it on a plate.
7. Bring the soup in the pot to a boil again, add coriander and sesame oil, season and turn off the heat.
8. Pour the soup over the fish.
