Six counties in Huizhou refer to Shexian, yi county, Jixi, Wuyuan, Qimen and Xiuning counties under the jurisdiction of Huizhou government. Huizhou was called Zhangzhou in ancient times, 1 12 1 year, and Song Huizong changed to Huizhou, but the six counties under its jurisdiction remained unchanged. The land of these six counties was called Huizhou Road in Yuan Dynasty and Huizhou House in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Because the establishment of Huizhou prefecture lasted the longest, it is also called one prefecture and six counties.
Huizhou, referred to as "emblem" for short, is a historical geographical name, which was called Zhangzhou and Xin 'an in ancient times.
