(1) Connect the two probes of the multimeter to the two connection terminals of the fan motor respectively. Under normal circumstances, the resistance of the fan motor is about 240Ω.

(2) After testing, it is found that the resistance of the fan motor is infinite, indicating that the winding of the fan motor has been broken and the fan motor should be replaced.

(3) Pull out the fixing buckle for fixing the fan motor. After releasing the buckle, remove the fan motor and damaged fan motor from the fan bracket.

(4) After removing the damaged fan motor, replace it with the one with the same specification, and put the fan motor back to its original position, so that the buckle on the bracket can block the fan motor. (Look at the logo on the side of the fan motor and select the fan motor specification.)

(5) After replacement, if the fan motor shaft does not rotate smoothly, add some lubricating oil to the bottom of the fan motor shaft to lubricate the fan motor.

(6) Install the overhauled fan assembly on the microwave oven and start the trial operation, and the fault will be eliminated.

Open the cover, measure the resistance at both ends of the fan motor package, and it shows infinity, indicating that the package is open. After careful inspection, it was found that there was mildew at the welding place between the lead-out wire and the terminal post, and both enameled wires were disconnected. After re-welding, the fan motor began to run and the microwave oven returned to normal.
