Poseidon (Greek: Ποσε?δ_ν) is the king of the sea in Greek mythology and the shaker of the earth. His majesty rivals the endless vitality and floods of the earth, and he is called the sea. Zeus, whose status and power are so high that his dominance extends throughout the universe, is the most powerful person in power after his heavenly father Zeus. Poseidon is one of the twelve main gods of Olympus and one of the three giants of Olympus. Neptune is named after his Roman name Neptune. He is the son of the second-generation god-king Cronus and the god-queen Rhea, the second brother of Zeus, and the supreme god who rules all the universe and seas. When Poseidon and his three brothers divided their spheres of influence: Zeus, the younger brother, got the sky, Hades, the eldest brother, condescended to the underworld, and Poseidon got all the sea. Poseidon's mount is a golden chariot driven by a white horse, and his weapon is Poseidon's Trident.
