The body is slender, slightly flat, with a round abdomen and no abdominal margin. The head is long and sharp, the mouth is big, and the end of the oral fissure can reach below the front edge. The tip of the kiss is beak-shaped, and the length of the kiss exceeds the width of the kiss. There is a bony protrusion at the front end of the mandible. Eyes are the same size, protruding to both sides. When living, the body color is light yellow, the back is gray-black, the abdomen is silvery white, the dorsal fin and caudal fin are thick gray, and the cheeks and other fins are light yellow.
