In the dictionary, there are three interpretations of the word "kai". One is a branch of the Qiang minority in China, one means flat, and the other is used as a surname. The name of Kaishan Park in Shan County "Open" takes the second interpretation, meaning a relatively flat mountain. Whether it is the "Yanzhou Prefecture Chronicles" during the Wanli Period of the Ming Dynasty, the "Caozhou Prefecture Chronicles" during the Qianlong Period of the Qing Dynasty, or the "Shan County Chronicles" during the Republic of China, there are records of the founding of the mountain. However, the founder was later forgotten by the locals. It was not until more than ten years ago when we were building Kaishan Park that we accidentally excavated a stone tablet of "Old Traces of Kaishan" engraved during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, that the name "Kaishan" was re-recognized by people. Before that, the ancient ruins left over from the founding of the mountain had been called Zhangdui by the locals.
Kaishan Park is located on the east bank of Donggou River in Xincheng District, Shanxian County, about 3.5 kilometers away from the old town of Shanxian County. According to the information in Kaishan Park, Kaishan Park was built in 2003 and covers a total area of ??about 1,200 acres. It mainly includes four parts: Kaishan Lake Scenic Area, Heritage Cultural Reserve, Poetry and Songs Area and Modern Cultural Area. The largest park in the city, it was rated as a 3A tourist attraction at the end of 2017.
The main attractions in Kaishan Scenic Area include South Gate Square, East Gate Square, Shunshi Square, Shanfu Statue, Queen Lu Statue, Four Gentlemen Statue, Yixin Pavilion, Lotus Viewing Pavilion, Poetry Reciting Pavilion, and Qin Ming Pavilion. , Inkstone Pavilion, Gongde Pavilion, Longteng Bridge, Quqiao, Mingran Art Museum and Kaishan Site, etc. Among them, the most rich historical and cultural connotation attraction is the Kaishan Site.
The Kaishan site is also called the Zhangdui site. The pile is about 150 meters long from north to south and about 120 meters long from east to west. The Qudui site contains cultural relics from several periods including Longshan Culture, Yueshi Culture, Shang and Zhou Culture. According to the information on the site, Zhang Yudui was originally called Shang Yudui. It was a residential area and burial area in Kaishan from the Yin and Shang Dynasties to the Tang and Song Dynasties. Later, oral tradition mistook Shang Yudui for Zhang Yudui. In fact, its original name was It is called Kaishan, which means a raised mound on the plain.

According to the records of these three local chronicles, the current Zhangyandui should be the original Kaishan site. When the construction of Kaishan Park began in 2003, excavated stones were dug near the Zhangyandui site. A stone tablet engraved with "Old Traces of the Founding of the Mountain" erected in the fifth year of Qianlong's reign (1740) further confirmed that Zhang Dui was the original founding of the mountain.
Among the eight scenic spots in Shanxian County, the snow-covered mountains in Kaishan depict the beautiful scenery of Kaishan. According to local historical records, the Zhangkuan mound in the southeast of the ancient city is towering, and Gaotai Mountain is shaded by pines and cypresses. Whenever the heavy snow falls in winter, the high platform is carved with ice and covered in silver.
