1. Breeding container
(1) Because brine shrimp are relatively small, they do not need to be cultured in large breeding ponds. Generally, they can be cultured in fish tanks of suitable size.
(2) The depth of the fish tank should be about 50cm. The bottom should be paved with gravel and aquatic plants should be planted to provide a place for brine shrimp to hide. At the same time, an aeration device should be installed.
2. Hatching method
(1) Take out the refrigerated brine shrimp eggs and place them in a dry environment at room temperature for about 1 week.
(2) Then put the brine shrimp eggs into light salt water (boil at high temperature and then let cool) and wait for the brine shrimp to hatch.
3. Feed feed
(1) Cultivate the hatched brine shrimp in a fish tank and provide it with food, because the brine shrimp will feed on phytoplankton in the water. It eats, so you can grow algae in the fish tank for it to eat.
(2) Food rich in organic matter such as rice water, milk, and baking powder solution can also be provided to brine shrimp to ensure its growth.
4. Harvest brine shrimp
(1) The growth rate of brine shrimp is relatively fast. After hatching, the brine shrimp will mature in about 10 days and can be harvested at this time.
(2) It should be noted that it is recommended to use a wide-hole dip net for fishing during harvesting to avoid fishing out the larvae of brine shrimp.
