Wash the raw chestnuts and set aside.
Put 3 bowls of water in the pot.
Put chestnuts, brown sugar, and rock sugar into the pot respectively.
Start boiling over high heat. After the water boils, turn to low heat and cook until one-quarter of the water in the pot remains.
Put the chestnuts and water into the rice cooker and cook in rice mode.
After the rice cooker button automatically jumps back to the keep warm mode, turn on the rice cooker.
Take out the chestnuts from the rice cooker, put them in a larger container, rinse the chestnuts with cold water, pour out the water, and you will have delicious brown sugar chestnuts.
Notes
After taking out the chestnuts from the rice cooker, run the chestnuts through cold water to separate the skin inside the chestnut shell from the chestnut meat. This will make it easier to peel the chestnuts when eating!
