Purple spiked wolfsbane (scientific name: Lycopsis arvensis), also known as wolfsbane and grass dogwood, is an annual or biennial herb. According to my understanding, purple spiked wolfsbane is a herbaceous plant, generally does not have significant toxicity. Its seeds are rich in fat, protein, and nutrients such as calcium and phosphorus, and can be used for oil extraction and the manufacture of tallow and butter substitutes.
However, I still recommend consulting a professional or doing thorough research before consuming any unfamiliar or wild plant to ensure safety. Other parts of certain plants, such as the leaves or roots, can be toxic and therefore still require care.
