1. Make porridge in a pot with half stock and half water. The amount depends on the number of people eating. Add steamed rice. Use steamed rice, which is easier to cook. It also saves time. I usually steam more at noon and save it for the evening. Bring to a boil over high heat, add diced yam, and turn to medium heat.
2. Lean minced meat. I bought minced minced meat in Shuanghui store because my baby doesn’t like to eat lean meat and his teeth are not good and his teeth are blocked. Minced meat is easier to eat. Use cooking wine, light soy sauce, salt, and minced ginger for ten minutes to add the flavor to the minced lean meat. Put a little water in a small pot, bring it to a boil, put the minced meat into the pot and blanch it to remove the fishy smell.
3. Put the minced meat into the porridge pot, cook together, turn to low heat, remember to stir, yam is easy to stick to the pot.
4. The porridge will become thicker and thicker. Keep stirring. When it feels almost ready, add cabbage leaves and cook for a few more minutes. Add salt to taste, green onion and sesame oil.
