Jiaocun is located in the prominent part of Huang Qi Peninsula, facing the Mazu Islands across the sea and close at hand. The total population of Jiaocun is about 2200. Historically, villagers used the sea as a field and made a living by fishing. From about 1995, villagers went abroad to make a living and start a business. It is understood that nearly 400 people in this village have gone abroad, distributed in 1 1 countries and regions in the world, of which 82% are in Brazil. The meticulous work of Jiaocun Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese has narrowed the distance with overseas Chinese and enhanced the feelings between overseas Chinese and their hometown.
Jiaocun is adjacent to Dajian Village, changsha village, Chicai Village, Haixin Street Community, Otani Village, Yinghai Community, Gushi Village, Haifeng Community and Haijian Community.
Jiaocun is near the Voice of the Straits Huang Qi Radio Station, Gui 'an Happy World, Gui 'an Grand Theatre, Lianjiang Xishan Leisure Tourism Resort, Gui 'an Xintiandi Leisure Tourism Resort and other tourist attractions, including Lianjiang Abalone and Yum! Cricket, Dinghai Lilac Fish, Mazu Rice Vinegar and Longsha are seasonal.
