Feeding habits of ACIPENSER schrenckii
The main foods are benthos, water worms and small fish. Acipenser schrenckii is a carnivorous fish. In its digestive system, there are not only pyloric caecum of teleost fish, but also valve intestine of cartilaginous fish, so it has a high hydration and absorption function. The food of young fish is mainly benthos, earthworm and aquatic insects; Adult fish feed on aquatic insects, benthos and small fish. In the case of feeding, after domestication, artificial compound feed can be eaten. The appetite of ACIPENSER schrenckii is closely related to the water temperature. The water temperature starts to feed at 8~ 12, but the food intake is small and the growth is slow. With the increase of water temperature, the appetite increases gradually, especially at 18~25 degrees. After 26 degrees, the food intake gradually decreased.
