The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming, and the listed grapefruit will also be on the market. Mom told me not to throw away the finished grapefruit peel! The dish she taught me to cook is really unique and appetizing.
Few people know that pomelo peel can be cooked and eaten, and it is nutritious. Especially suitable for autumn consumption, expectorant, cough relieving, fluid production and lung moistening. Spicy people can try it. According to my mother's practice, it is simple and delicious, especially appetizing!
Ingredients: pomelo peel (just half), red pepper, garlic.
Exercise:
1. Cut pepper and garlic into small cubes, first add light soy sauce, a little dark soy sauce, a little old vinegar and salt, stir well and marinate for half an hour. Note: Be sure to marinate in advance. Pepper is not delicious if it is not pickled.
2. Wash the grapefruit skin, peel off the surface skin and slice it. Boil a pot of water, pour the cut pomelo peel into boiling water, cook for about 2 minutes, and take it out. After cooling or rinsing with cold boiled water, squeeze out the water in the pomelo peel as much as possible for later use. Note: Don't cook for too long, the taste will soften after a long time. Pick it up and cool it naturally, or use cold boiled water instead of tap water.
3. Pour pickled peppers into the drained grapefruit peel, add some sesame oil, and mix well to serve!
