Materials required:
-fondant
-Corn syrup
-Food coloring (optional)
Steps:
1. Put the fondant into a safe container in a microwave oven, add corn syrup and stir well.
2. Put the container in a microwave oven and heat it for 20 seconds on medium-high fire. Take it out and stir it, then put it in the microwave oven and heat it for another 20 seconds.
3. Take it out again, stir it evenly, and heat it in the microwave oven for 20 seconds again.
If you need to add color, now is the time to add food coloring. Add the pigment into the mixture of syrup and fondant and stir well until the desired color is achieved.
5. Pour the syrup on a clean workbench and wait until it is cool enough to be kneaded into balls by hand.
6. Press the syrup into a flat circle by hand, and then roll it into the required size and thickness with a rolling pin. When rolling the sugar peel, turn it over and rotate it regularly to ensure that it will not stick to the worksheet.
This makes a transparent fondant skin. It should be noted that if you want to maintain transparency, please don't stretch or pat the sugar skin too much, because it will reduce transparency.
