Antelopes are as big as goats. It is110 ~130cm long and weighs 40 ~ 50kg. Big eyes, protruding left and right, no infraorbital glands, long ears. Both males and females have black short right angles, short and small, with a length of 15 ~ 20 cm, and the longest record is 23.2 cm.

The base of the horn is very close, only 1 ~ 2 cm away. After the frontal bone grows, it inclines backward and upward, and the corner tip bends slightly backward and downward. The corners are sharp and smooth, and the rest have more than 10 transverse edges. The number of transverse edges is related to age. There are shallow and thin longitudinal grooves between the transverse ribs, but the transverse ribs are not split. Female horns are slightly thinner.

The head is narrow and short, the face is wide, and the exposed area of the nose is large, extending backward to the back of the nostril. There is no mane, but there is a dark brown back line from the beginning along the back, and there are white or yellow shallow throat spots in the throat. The limbs are short and well-proportioned, the hooves are narrow and powerful, and there are hoof glands.

The coat color in different areas is different, generally grayish brown, with brown lines on the back and white spots on the throat. Body hair is thick, soft and fluffy, usually grayish brown, but the tip of the needle hair is dark brown, which looks like a looming pockmarked from a distance, so it is also called "Mayang".
