How to process dried cantaloupe?
(1) The raw materials required for dried melons are mainly Xiahuangpi and Akekouqi, with thin, thick and white flesh, and it is better to use nine-ripe melons with more than 8% soluble solids. (2) threshing ground is going to do a good job of leveling the ground for drying melons, and then set up a shelf for drying melons about 1 meter high from the ground. The length and width of the shelf depend on the shelf materials. Generally, the shelf is about 4 ~ 5 meters long and 2 meters wide, and curtains woven with reeds are spread on the shelf to prepare for drying melons. Some dried melons are not too many, and stakes are planted at the edge of the melon field, wire is pulled on the stakes, and dried melons are dried on the wire. (3) Drying of dried melons: Wash the dried melons with water, peel and remove the pulp, then cut the melons into 4-6 pieces and put them on the table or hang them on the wire to dry. Dried melons on the table should be turned several times frequently in order to speed up the drying, which usually takes more than 1 days to dry. Then press the dried melon with your hands, it is not sticky, it is tough, and when the color is brown, it is sun-baked. (4) Packaging of finished products: Take back the dried melons, put them in a cool room, tie them into 1kg bundles, or subpackage them into small packages of 25-5g, and then put them on the market for sale.
