Macrobrachium belongs to Macrobrachium and Macrobrachium. The frontal angle is developed, the side is flat, and there are teeth up and down. There are tentacles in the lower jaw. The first two pairs of walking feet are chelated. All over the tropics and subtropics, they live in fresh water in temperate zones and sometimes in salt water. Some larvae hatch in seawater and can live in the ocean when they are young.
