It's best to feed grass in fish ponds, so that the snails raised in this way are tight and delicious. I raised them here in Hunan. There is a picture video of raising snail ponds in my little video. The snail is very fertile. At first, there were many snails in one pond, and now there are many snails in four ponds. It likes to move and feed at night. The water temperature suitable for snail's life is about 20 to 28 degrees Celsius. When it is above 30 degrees Celsius, it will hide in the snail's shell for summer, and when the water temperature is 40 degrees Celsius, it will die. It has strong adaptability to drought and cold.
The mortality rate of snails after seedling release is much higher. Even if snails survive, they will be attached with red rust, and some will appear reddish brown. Secondly, the water quality is the best, but it should not be too transparent. To ensure sufficient oxygen, snails are very sensitive to dissolved oxygen in water. The number of adult snails per square meter 100 is appropriate. If the ratio of male to female is 1: 1, each female snail will give birth to 50 per year, then it will be about 2,600 per square meter until the end of the year, and the yield per mu can reach 1 7000 kg. The density can be increased correspondingly if the young snails are raised.
Feeding and throwing: firstly, some manure is put into the culture pond to cultivate floating organisms and provide bait for snails. Fertilization amount depends on the bottom quality of snail pond. After the snails are put into the pond, they are fed with vegetables, rice bran, fish offal or vegetable cakes and bean cakes. When artificially fed, vegetable leaves, fruits and vegetables, rice bran, wheat bran, bean cake powder and animal leftovers can all be used as feed, and its feeding habits are very miscellaneous.
