Gb 18824 is the implementation standard, which refers to Panjin rice. Panjin rice tastes good, but its nutritional value is slightly lower, and its taste can be comparable to Wuchang rice. For example, the national standard rice, whose implementation standard is GBT 19266, is also called Wuchang rice.

Rice cultivation in Panjin began in Qing Dynasty. 1928, General Zhang Xueliang set up "Yingtian Company" to reclaim land and grow rice in a large area in his hometown. After the founding of New China, it gradually developed into the largest state-owned farm group in Liaoning Province-the centralized rice producing area.

In 2002, the protection of Panjin rice origin was approved by the state, and the State Council named Panjin as the organic rice production base. In 2003, the rice planting area was100000 hectares, including 85000 hectares of high-quality rice. Among them, there are 37,300 hectares of rice planted in crab fields, 6,700 hectares of organic rice and 6,700 hectares of selenium-enriched rice.

It produces 733,000 tons of rice and processes 610.7 million tons of refined rice. Panjin rice produced by six enterprises won the title of "Quality Product in Liaoning Province". Panjin rice has been exported to 20 Yu Sheng cities in China and 15 countries and regions in five continents.
