If you want the pork to be crispier and you have a can of cooking spray like PAM handy, you can coat it with a light layer of oil and then sprinkle it with cornstarch for extra crispiness.

What is needed?

Baking pan A baking pan with a suitable rack and a non-stick pan.

1. Preheat the oven to 230?C and season the pork with salt and pepper.

2. Place the pork in a plastic bag or basin along with a tablespoon of cornstarch. Shake well until pork is lightly coated, then place on an oiled tray on a baking sheet lined with foil.

3. Roast the pork for 40 minutes, turning it every 20 minutes.

4. While the pork is roasting, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to a cup of water and stir.

5. Place sugar, ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, cornstarch slurry and 1/4 cup water in a pot and bring to a boil. Once cooked, reduce heat to low and add bell peppers and onions. Cook to your desired doneness, then remove from heat.

6. After the pork is roasted, add the pork to the sauce and stir-fry until the juice is almost reduced. Finally enjoy the food!
