Majitang Leicha is a traditional drink in Guangdong. It is composed of green tea, sesame, beans, longan, glutinous rice and other ingredients. It has a refreshing taste and rich nutrition. The following is how to make Majitang Leicha:
Required materials:
1. 15 grams of green tea leaves
2. 30 grams of sesame seeds
3. 15 grams each of red beans, mung beans, peanuts, lotus seeds, longan and barley
4. 1 tsp of glutinous rice
5. Appropriate amount of rock sugar
6. Boil 500 ml of water
Preparation steps:
1. Saute the sesame seeds in a pot until slightly yellow, remove and set aside.
2. Put the green tea into a cup and brew it with hot water for 2 minutes. After brewing, take out the tea leaves and let it cool for later use.
3. Mix red beans, mung beans, peanuts, lotus seeds, longan and barley, rinse with water and mash in a grinder.
4. Soak the glutinous rice in boiling water until soft, then mash it in a grinder.
5. Mash various materials and mix them together, pour into hot water, add an appropriate amount of rock sugar, and stir evenly.
6. Use a blender or foamer to beat the Leicha until the top is slightly white.
