Rays.
The ray is a cartilaginous fish. It has a flat, diamond-shaped body with a strange and elegant appearance. The fish's entire pectoral fins resemble a pair of large wings and swim as if they were flying. They have protruding round eyes and two slits in their head through which oxygen-rich seawater enters its body and is expelled from the gill slits located on the abdomen behind the mouth.
Expanded Information
Rays and stingrays are very similar because they both have flat bodies.Differences:
Rays and stingrays are very different from their appearance because rays are made of cartilage, which is calcified and develops a certain degree of hardness, so that some of the skeleton is soft and some is hard, a symptom that is more normal, in which to be stronger and more nutritious than all fish, and the stingray, also known as the devil fish, was present in the Jurassic period and has been proliferating on Earth until now.
Stingrays are mainly found in South America, Asia and Africa, while rays have a much wider distribution, from the tropics to the near-Arctic belt, except for the South Pacific and the northeastern coast of South America.
