Asparagus can be directly sown in the field, propagated by single plant and transplanted. Seedling transplanting is divided into big seedling transplanting and small seedling transplanting.
Prepare the nutrition bowl one month in advance, and then prepare the seedbed. The standard of seedbed is 10- 14 cm in depth and 1.4- 1.5 m in width, with good soil quality, high fertility and loose soil. Before potting, phosphate fertilizer, plant ash and compound fertilizer are added to each cubic meter of nutrient soil to make nutrient soil. The pot is required to have a diameter of about 10- 12 cm and a height of 10 cm.
The lowest germination temperature of asparagus seeds is 10℃, and the optimum temperature is 25-30℃. Usually, seeds soaked and germinated are planted in shallow ditches from the end of April to the beginning of May, and the seed consumption per mu is about 1 kg. If dry seeds are used, they should be sown in the middle and late April in advance. When the temperature is appropriate after sowing, the seeds can germinate in 7-8 days, and only in 15 days after sowing.
