2. Different appearances: the large honey locust pods are long and thick, flat cylindrical, up to 30 cm long and about 15 cm wide, while the small honey locust pods are dark brown and flat cylindrical when mature. Shape, 2 to 5 cm long and 2 to 3.5 cm wide.
