Morphological characteristics: the body is long and flat. Female body length18 ~ 24 cm, male body length13 ~17 cm. The shell is thin, smooth and transparent, the female body is blue, and the male body is brown. Usually, the female shrimp is larger than the male shrimp. The whole body of prawn consists of 20 segments, including 5 segments of head, 8 segments of chest and 7 segments of abdomen.

Except the caudal segment, each segment has a pair of appendages. There are five pairs of walking feet, the first three pairs are pincers and the last two pairs are claws. The center of the front edge of the head breastplate protrudes to form the frontal angle. The upper and lower edges of the frontal angle are serrated.

Second, Penaeus japonicus

Alias: flower shrimp, bamboo shrimp, flower-tailed shrimp, spotted shrimp, and car shrimp.

Morphological characteristics: the body is blue-brown with horizontal spots, and the tail tip is bright blue. The frontal angle is slightly curved, with 8 ~10 teeth on the upper edge and 2 teeth on the lower edge. The first antenna whip is very short, shorter than1/2 of the head and breastplate. The first pair of feet have no stings, the top of the middle leaf of the male shrimp connector has a very thick protrusion, and the female connector is long cylindrical. Mature shrimp is more female than male.

Third, Penaeus monodon

Alias: grass shrimp, flower shrimp, bull shrimp. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization is known as the Great Tiger Shrimp.

Morphological characteristics: the body is covered with dark brown and khaki alternating with horizontal spots. The frontal angle has 7-8 teeth on the upper edge and 2-3 teeth on the lower edge. The lateral sulcus of frontal angle is quite deep, extending behind the supraocular puncture, but the lateral ridge of frontal angle is low and blunt, and the central sulcus of posterior ridge of frontal angle is obvious. There is obvious liver ridge, but no forehead and stomach ridge.

Fourth, Penaeus penicillatus

Alias: prawns, white shrimps, red-tailed shrimps, red shrimps and prawns, commonly known as red-tailed shrimps by FAO.

Morphological characteristics: the body is light brown, with 7 ~ 8 teeth on the upper edge of the frontal angle and 4 ~ 6 teeth on the lower edge. The lateral view of the frontal base is higher than that of Penaeus China and lower than that of Penaeus Moji. The posterior ridge of frontal angle extends to the vicinity of the posterior edge of head and breastplate, and there is no central sulcus.

The first antenna whip is slightly longer than the head and breastplate, and the third jaw of male shrimp has no brush-like hair, which is1.2 ~ 2.7 times as long as the second section. There are intermittent pits on the frontal ridge. The wart process at the top of the front piece of the female organ is smaller than that of Penaeus vannamei.

V. Penaeus breviscapus

Alias: black shrimp, flower shrimp, abundant shrimp, flower-footed shrimp, bamboo shrimp and bear shrimp, which are commonly known as edge tiger shrimp by FAO.

Morphological characteristics: the body is dark brown and has a horizontal pattern of stopping brown and dark yellow. Swimming limbs are purplish red. There are 6 ~ 8 teeth on the upper edge of the frontal angle and 2 ~ 4 teeth on the lower edge. The lateral sulcus of the frontal angle only extends to the base of the upper gastric puncture, and the center of the posterior ridge of the frontal angle is obvious.

There is obvious liver ridge, but no forehead and stomach ridge. The first antenna whip is shorter than its handle. In the third step, the foot is beyond the middle of the second antenna scale, and in the fifth step, the foot has small outer limbs.

Six, oral shrimp

Alias: Pippi Shrimp, Shrimp Rake, Shrimp Male Camel.

The abdomen has seven sections, and the boundary is also obvious, but it is larger and wider than the head and chest. At the front end of the head, there are a pair of large compound eyes with handles and two pairs of antennae.

The top of the first pair of inner limbs is divided into three whiplike limbs, and the outer limbs of the second pair are scaly. There are five in the chest; For appendages, the ends are sharp hooks to catch food. There are six segments in the chest. The appendages of the first five segments have gills, and the sixth pair of abdominal limbs is developed, which forms a tail fan with the tail segment.
