Golden pomfret belongs to Cephalotaxus, Cephalotaxus and Cephalotaxus of Perciformes. Its scientific name is golden pomfret, and its common name is yellow pomfret and golden pomfret. The fish body is flat and oval, and the length of the gluteal fin is slightly equal to the length of the second dorsal fin.
