In addition to the original writers, after 1980, the creative practice of young and middle-aged writers such as Gu Hua, Ye, Sun Jianzhong and so on further enriched and developed this genre of novels. This school of writers insists on the creative principles and methods of revolutionary realism, and insists on ideological and artistic exploration on the basis of nationalization, which often has political significance.
In their creative practice, they gradually formed an artistic style similar to the "Camellia School": delicate, bright, subtle, simple, full of life and lyrical atmosphere, with distinctive regional folk customs and poetic beauty. The formation of "Camellia School".

At the same time, it also provides beneficial enlightenment for promoting the formation of literary schools with regional characteristics.
