As for the origin of tea tree in my country, different regions have different opinions.

1． Southwest

"The southwest of my country is the origin of tea trees and the birthplace of tea." The southwest refers to a large area, and tea likes to be moist, and the climate conditions in the southwest are just right, so the term southwest is used here. The accuracy rate is high on two points.

2. Sichuan

Gu Yanwu's "Rizhilu" of the Qing Dynasty: "Since the Qin people took Shu, tea drinking began." This means that before the Qin people entered Shu, there was people in today's Sichuan area The history of tea drinking. Sichuan also belongs to the southwest region of our country. If Sichuan's statement is correct, then the southwest statement is more accurate. Although Sichuan's statement is more precise than Yunnan's, there are still some risks.

3． Yunnan

Yunnan believes that tea originated in the Xishuangbanna area, because this area is the kingdom of plants. It is entirely possible to say that there are native tea tree species there, but tea trees are not tea culture. There are risks in this regard.

4． Eastern Sichuan and Western Hubei

Lu Yu's "Tea Classic": "In the Bashan Gorge, there are two people hugging each other." The Bashan Gorge here refers to today's eastern Sichuan and western Hubei region. Since there are such outstanding tea trees in this area, has anyone used them to produce tea? No evidence was seen. Therefore, this argument cannot be established.

5. Jiangsu and Zhejiang

The tea industry in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is the most developed region in my country, but it cannot be proven that it is the origin of tea. Some people suggest that it originated from the ancient Yue culture represented by the Hemudu culture, and some tea trees may not necessarily develop into the custom of drinking tea. So there are still big doubts.
