Legal analysis: According to the requirements of the Notice of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on Printing and Distributing (Plan for Formulation and Revision of Engineering Construction Standards and Specifications in 2008 (First Batch)) (JB E2008102), this code was revised by China Research Institute of Building Science together with relevant units on the basis of the original Code for Design of Building Foundations (GB 50007-2002).

Legal basis: Announcement on Issuing National Standards

The Code for Design of Building Foundations is now approved as the national standard with the number of GB50007-20 1 1, which will be implemented on August 20 12. Among them, Paragraphs 3.0.2, 3.0.5, 5. 1.3, 5.3. 1, 5.3.4, 6. 1. 1, 6.3. 1. 8.4. 18、8.5. 10、8.5. 13、8.5.20、8.5.22、9. 1.3、9. 1.9、9.5.3、 10.2. 1、 10.2. 10、 1 0.2. 13, 10.2. 14, 10.3.2, 10.3.8 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original Code for Design of Building Foundations (GB50007-2002) shall be abolished at the same time.
