New coronavirus infection is a new coronavirus infection. The symptoms of new coronavirus infection and cold are different in four aspects, as follows:
1. Systemic symptoms: New coronavirus infection affects the whole body The symptoms are relatively severe, including fever, cough, fatigue and even myalgia, while the systemic symptoms of cold patients are relatively mild.
2. Local respiratory symptoms: Only a small number of patients infected with the new coronavirus have sputum symptoms, including nasal congestion, runny nose, and sore throat. Cold patients mainly present symptoms such as respiratory cough and sputum production, obvious nasal congestion, excessive runny nose and throat discomfort.
3. Body temperature: Fever is the first symptom of novel coronavirus infection, and patients with persistent high fever are more seriously ill. Fever does not necessarily occur when you have a cold, even if the fever lasts for a short period of time.
4. Symptoms one week after onset of illness: Some patients with severe new coronavirus infection may have difficulty breathing and hypoxemia one week after the illness. Colds generally do not cause dyspnea or hypoxemia. They are basically cured after a week and clinical symptoms are relieved.
