This cloth storage box is mainly supported by hard adhesive lining. First, determine the diameter and height of the box you need. For example, the cloth storage box is 9cm in diameter and 7cm in height. According to this size, cut off the adhesive lining needed at the bottom of the box first. 1 layer is too thin, use 2 layers, with a diameter of 9cm.
The circumference of a circle with a diameter of 9cm is equal to about 28.3cm. Cut out two hard adhesive linings with a length of 28.3 cm to make a box, and the height is self-determined. This is 7 centimeters. In order to make the fabric storage box more fashionable, you can cut out a slightly narrower adhesive lining.
Find out the tablecloth with the right size, and iron the adhesive lining of the base and the body on the back of the tablecloth respectively. Pay attention to the alignment of the upper and lower layers of the adhesive liner, and half of the box body of the cloth storage box is aligned with the three sides of the lower two layers. Tang Wei's adhesive lining should be padded with another layer of Tang Wei, which can't be scalded together, which will hinder heat conduction. After ironing, leave a seam around the adhesive lining and trim the tablecloth neatly.
Spread a narrow double-sided adhesive lining on the edge of the adhesive lining, then fold the face cloth along the edge of the adhesive lining and iron it to make the seam stick firmly. Butt the two ends of the box body of the fabric storage box, cover the seam on the other side with one folded side, and sew the box body into a cylinder by hand with hidden needle sewing method.
Continue to sew the bottom of the box on the box body with a hidden needle, paying attention to the side of the 2-layer adhesive lining. There are some difficulties in sewing here. It is suggested that it will be much more convenient to stuff a mass of cloth support in the empty cylinder.
Making the inner core of the cloth storage box: the inner core and the outer shell are basically the same, but the size is slightly smaller. The bottom diameter and height of the inner core are about 0.3 cm shorter than that of the outer shell, and then the corresponding circumference is calculated. According to the data obtained, the adhesive lining of the inner core can be cut off and one layer is used less. Similarly, after ironing the adhesive lining on the inner cloth, trimming is carried out, and then the seams are bonded with double-sided adhesive lining, so that the two sides of the inner core box body do not need to be folded in.
Different from the fabric storage box shell, the inner core faces outwards, so you can tear some seams on the upper and lower sides of the box body, then pull the two sides together for sewing, then separate the seams and fold the upper and lower sides in for ironing.
Sew the bottom of the box with a hidden needle. Nesting the inner and outer layers of the fabric storage box: the inner and outer layers of the fabric storage box have been completed. Before putting them together, place a belt at the seam of the shell. The waist width is about 1.5cm and the length is about 4cm. Half of it is sewn with the box body, and the other half is left to be sewn with the lid, so that the belt connects the box body and the lid like a hinge. In addition, sew a button on the back of the belt, and the button position is vertically centered.
Make the cover of the fabric storage box: the diameter of the cover can be the same as the box body, and the cover is divided into two layers, the bottom is slightly smaller than the top. In order to make the cover fuller, some auxiliary cotton can be added, and the bottom of the cover is made the same as the bottom of the box. After the squadron leader sticks the adhesive lining, the surrounding seams are folded inward and the lining is bonded with double-sided adhesive tape.
The top cover is made like a sandwich. The auxiliary cotton sticks to the face cloth. If the auxiliary cotton is not glued, you can cut a thin single-sided non-woven adhesive lining with the same size as the face cloth to cover it, iron the edge to make it adhere to the face cloth, so that the auxiliary cotton is sandwiched in the middle, and then iron two layers of adhesive lining on it in turn.
Then sew the edge of the face cloth thinly with a hand sewing needle, then tighten the thread end to make the thread end fold naturally, and cut off the raised small folds. Finally, cut a rubber band about 10cm long, and sew it in half on the adhesive lining as the fastener of the box. Sew the rubber band at the right position with the other half of the belt growing out of the box. Finally, cover the back cover and fix the edge with hidden stitches.
