Steps
1. Slice the Japanese tofu into one to two centimeter-thick cubes and set aside on a plate. Arrange a shrimp on the surface of each piece of tofu and garnish with a green bean.
2. Prepare hot water in a pot, place the plated tamago shrimp in the pot, sprinkle with a little salt, cover the pot with a lid and steam for about 6 minutes.
3. After steaming, prepare a small bowl and pour the extra juice from the steamed shrimp into the bowl for later use, then pour the juice into the pot, add a moderate amount of soy sauce, pour in the water starch and mix until the juice forms a thin gravy, then sprinkle with pepper to taste.
4. Finally, pour the gravy over the steamed Tamago Shrimp, and enjoy.
