Since 1980s, more than 100 production lines have been introduced from Japan, and more than 40 instant noodle equipment manufacturers have appeared in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuxi and Zhengzhou. 1986, Beijing Changping Great Wall Food Factory introduced the bowl instant noodle production line of Futu Company of Japan.
