Steps
1. Remove the gills and internal organs of the miscellaneous fish and wash them.
2. Prepare the required ingredients.
3. Pour oil into the pot and heat it, add onions, ginger, garlic, star anise and dried chili peppers to the pot.
4. Add Pixian Douban and stir-fry the red oil over low heat.
5. Add appropriate amount of water.
6. Add soy sauce, cooking wine and oyster sauce.
7. Add salt and sugar and bring to a boil over high heat.
8. Put the miscellaneous fish into the pot.
9. After boiling over high heat, reduce to low heat and simmer for 20 minutes to half an hour.
