Vitasoy is Chinese.
Vitasoy (English: Vitasoy), the soymilk drink has been produced in Hong Kong, China since 1940, and is now manufactured in plants throughout mainland China, Hong Kong, China, Australia and the United States.
Vitasoy includes brands of fruit juice, milk and tea drinks, sodas, distilled water and tofu.
The paper-packaged Vitasoy Vitasoy Soymilk was developed by founder Dr. Luo Guixiang.
Lo wanted to provide the average Hong Kong family with an inexpensive, protein-rich alternative to the more expensive cow's milk. Soybeans, known as "China's Cow", are rich in protein and cheap, and Dr. Lo believed that soy milk made from soybeans could be an alternative to cow's milk, so he developed Vitasoy Milk.
Production facilities
Vitasoy now has production facilities in several countries around the world, including Tuen Mun, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Foshan in Hong Kong, China; Ayer, Massachusetts in the United States; and Victoria in Australia.
On December 31, 2011, Vitasoy spent up to $200 million to introduce "Aseptic Cold Fill Technology" exclusively to Hong Kong, China, by German company Krones. After VLT, VITA's "Tea Dictionary" and "Iced Tea" series have been moved back to Hong Kong to be produced with this production line.
