It was famous in the Qin Dynasty, and still retains many poems, stone carvings and places of interest. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, it has been developed into the first hot spring tourist area in the province.
County officials and celebrities from afar all come here to gather in the hot springs, or recite poems or write notes, traces of calligraphy, ancient tablet stone carvings, and chapters of local chronicles, such as Hot Springs by Zhu Xian in Tongcheng, Guangxi, Lovely Landscape by Huo Wei, the champion of Yanjing, Cliff stone carvings such as Bathing and Stone Interpretation by Cheng Wende, the minister of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, and Guangdong Imperial Supervisor in Ming Dynasty. This is indeed a good place for hot spring leisure and fitness and visiting cultural relics. In the thirty-eighth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (16 10), Gaozhou awarded Guo (Tongan) the inscription "It is convenient to feel the way". This stone carving faces the ancient road, which means "exploring the road" and has warning words, which seems to be a maze of vigilance.
