Because I was a little nervous in just one day, I went to Jinshan Temple and Xijindu Ancient Street selectively, because the two places are not far apart. I went to Jinshan Temple in the morning. At noon, I recited the proverb of the three monsters in Zhenjiang: "vinegar is not rotten, meat is not delicious, and it is cooked in a noodle pot." I found the most famous restaurant in Zhenjiang, Lao Yanchun, located on Renmin Road, and tasted Zhenjiang's delicious food: Yaorou, Zhenjiang Lion Head, Crab Yellow Soup Bags and Pot Cover Noodles-the feeling of tasting is omitted here, in short.

Xijindu Ancient Street is about 1000 meters long. It was founded in the Six Dynasties. After the construction of Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, it left its present scale. So from the Six Dynasties to the Qing Dynasty, the whole street can be seen everywhere. It is the "context" of Zhenjiang's historical and cultural city.

Xijin Ferry was called "Suanshan Ferry" in the Three Kingdoms, "Jinling Ferry" in the Tang Dynasty and "Xijin Ferry" after the Song Dynasty. It used to be close to the Yangtze River, and the rolling river flowed under its feet. After the Qing dynasty, due to the siltation of the river beach, the river bank gradually moved northward, and the ferry then moved down to Chao' an Temple at the foot of Yushan Mountain. At that time, Xijin Gudu is now more than 300 meters away from the bank of the Yangtze River.

During the Three Kingdoms period, Sun Quan's Dongwu Navy was stationed here. After the Tang Dynasty, soldiers were specially sent to guard and patrol here. In the spring of the first year of Song Xining (1608), Wang Anshi was called to Beijing and flew from the Western Jin Dynasty to Guazhou. When he sailed to Guazhou, he expressed his feelings on the spot and wrote the famous poem "Boating Guazhou": Guazhou in Jingkou is a piece of water, and Zhongshan is only separated by several mountains.
