Newegg aggregates approximately 4,000 sellers and a customer base of more than 25 million. It initially sold consumer electronics and IT products, but has now expanded to a full range of categories with up to 55,000 assortments. It appeals to affluent and Internet-savvy males between the ages of 18 and 35. Best-selling categories are automotive, sporting goods and office supplies. Of particular note, the majority of consumers are male, but female consumers are also growing rapidly.
