The chemical formula of salt is:NaCl.
The common salts in daily life are table salt (NaC1), soda ash (NaCO), baking soda (NaHCO) and other baking soda (sodium thiosulphate), and fertilizers used in agriculture, such as ammonium nitrate (NHNO), ammonium bicarbonate (NHCO), and K2SO4 are all part of the salts.
The usual salts are hydrophilic and the cations and anions in the salts are surrounded by water molecules and dissolved in water respectively.
Solubility
Many ionic compounds can be dissolved in water or similar solvents, and the solubility of a compound is related to the constituent anions and cations, as well as to the solvent, and therefore has a specific relationship. Among the cations, all salts of sodium, potassium and ammonium ions are soluble in water, while among the anions, salts of nitrate and bicarbonate ions are soluble in water.
Except for barium sulfate, calcium sulfate, and lead sulfate, most of the salts of sulfate ions are also soluble in water. However, if the bond between the ions is very strong, resulting in a highly stable solid, it is not easy to dissolve in water, for example, most of the carbonates are insoluble in water, such as lead carbonate and barium carbonate.
