Wedelia, Chinese medicine name. For the Asteraceae plant Wedeliachinensis (Osbeck) Merr. [SolidagochinensisOsbeck; Wedeliacalendulacea (L.) Less.] of the whole grass. It is distributed in Liaoning, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi and Guizhou.

Effects:

Clearing heat and removing toxins, cooling blood and dispersing blood stasis.

Treatments:

For cold and fever, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, mumps, diphtheria, whooping cough, bronchitis, pneumonia, pulmonary tuberculosis hemoptysis, epistaxis, blood in urine, infectious hepatitis, dysentery, hemorrhoids, boils and swelling poison. Expand

Slightly bitter and sweet in taste, cool in nature. Attributed to the lung, liver meridian
