Treatment measures:
(1) In case of the above situation, the patient should immediately lie on his back and rest, drink concentrated sugar water, fruit juice, candy or eat snacks or porridge steamed bread, which can generally relieve him quickly.
(2) For the heavier patients, on the one hand, we should use the above methods to treat them, and try our best to make them drink sugar water. However, for patients who can't cooperate with drinking water, don't force them to feed water or meals, otherwise food will easily be inhaled into the lungs or choked into the trachea, causing aspiration pneumonia or atelectasis.
(3) Patients with hypoglycemia who can eat by themselves should eat low sugar, high protein and high fat, eat less and eat more meals, so as not to stimulate the islet to secrete too much insulin.
(4) Hepatogenic hypoglycemia should be given a high-protein and high-carbohydrate diet, with a little meal before going to bed and a sugar drink at midnight if necessary.
(5) Avoid mental stimulation, and take diazepam and barbiturates when necessary.
(6) If coma has occurred, it is necessary to push or transfuse glucose intravenously, and should be sent to the hospital immediately.
