Generally, artificial breeding of silver carp requires two years of manipulation. In the first year, it is mainly used for fingerling cultivation. By the end of the year, it can reach 3-5 manipulations based on the facial specifications of fry, and in the second year, it can be used for adult fish cultivation, with a general weight of 4-6 kg. If the bait is sufficient, the size of fish can reach 500-800g, the weight of three-year-old fish can reach 6-8kg, and the weight of silver carp developed in natural water area can even reach 60-80kg.
Silver carp mainly feeds on plankton in the water, which requires rich water quality and sufficient plankton in the water. Fertilize the pond before releasing the fish, and sprinkle green manure and cooked manure in the pond after the summer flowers are released from the net. During the breeding process, add new water to the pond on schedule to ensure that the water color is brown-green. When the water temperature is below 10℃ in early winter, the fish will stop eating. At this time, they should live in a fish pond and concentrate on breeding in a deep pond for the winter. The fish entering and leaving the fish pond will stop feeding a week ago. It is best to scoop up the fish pond on a sunny day, and be careful when operating the cage, so as not to cause danger to the fish and make them infected with water mold during the winter, causing unnecessary losses.
Under normal circumstances, the water depth of the water storage tank should be controlled above 2m, with the back facing the sun and little silt at the bottom. After the fish reach the water storage tank, it is necessary to prevent the lack of oxygen in the water caused by freezing from affecting the development of the fish, and to prevent the water birds from causing danger to the fish. In order to reduce the waste rate of feed, we should adhere to the principles of timing, fixed point, qualitative and quantitative. Observe the water color and fish situation in the pond every day, cut weeds and rancid impurities in the water in real time to ensure the water quality. The feed table should be cleaned and disinfected regularly, and the feed should be novel and hygienic. Set up anti-escape, anti-theft and anti-enemy measures in the pool, strengthen daily disease prevention, regularly check the development of fishing nets, and reasonably adjust bait feeding.
