How to make Golden Chicken Wing Roots ?
Wash the chicken wing roots and use a knife to make a cut in the thin section of the wing root to separate the meat tendons from the bones.
Then follow the bone, turn the meat down and finally flip it over. You can use a knife here to separate the meat from the bone more cleanly.
Mix all the marinade ingredients well.
Pour the mixed sauce into the processed chicken wing roots, scrub well with your hands and knead for 5 minutes.
Place the wings in a ziplock bag and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, take out the marinated chicken wings and prepare the dipping sauce.
Dredge the marinated chicken wings in a thin layer of flour, gently shaking off the excess.
Place the coated chicken wings in the egg wash to coat them.
Finally, coat the egg-coated wings with breadcrumbs.
Place all the processed chicken wings in the frying basket.
Preheat the air fryer first. Select the cutlet mode, set the temperature to 180℃ and the time to 20 minutes. Then press and hold the stirring button to put the air fryer into preheat mode.
While the fryer is preheating, let's move on to the chicken wing roots. Cut out a small piece of tinfoil and wrap the top of the chicken wing root with tinfoil.
After the fryer is preheated, place the frying basket in the air fryer, cover and the air fryer continues in schnitzel mode.
After baking, plate the chicken wing roots and dip them in a little ketchup when you eat them for a better flavor.
Knock on delicious!
Tips
1. Wrap tinfoil around the top of the chicken wing roots. This prevents the tops from burning, and also makes it easy to eat without getting your hands dirty.
2. It is best to marinate the chicken wing roots overnight for more flavor. If time doesn't allow, marinate for at least 3 hours.
