Functional indication

Stem and leaf: clearing heat and promoting diuresis; Used for icteric hepatitis.

Root: Buzhong Yiqi; It can be used for treating qi deficiency, asthenia, soreness of waist and knees, spontaneous sweating due to physical weakness, proctoptosis, uterine prolapse, chronic nephritis and diabetes.
