Centella asiatica (scientific name: Centella asiatica (L.) Urban) is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Apiaceae family and Centella asiatica genus, with creeping stems, slender stems and roots at the nodes.
Eating: Centella asiatica has a soft texture and good palatability, and can be eaten raw. Folks in southern China often drink it as herbal tea. Centella asiatica is eaten as a vegetable in Southeast Asia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and South America.
