Steps of making fish shreds
The steps of making shredded fish are very simple, and only some basic tools and materials are needed.
Materials:
Fish: Choose fresh fish, preferably fish without skin and bones.
Starch: used to increase the viscosity of fish silk and make it easier to be drawn into filaments.
Salt, pepper, cooking wine: used for seasoning.
Clear water: used to prepare fish sauce.
Steps:
Cut the fish into small pieces and put them in a blender to make fish sauce.

Add water slowly and stir constantly until the fish paste becomes smooth and sticky.
Pour the fish paste into a large bowl and stir with chopsticks or spoon to make it smoother.

When the fish sauce is cooked, scrape it into small pieces with a spoon and knead it into filaments by hand.
Finally, the shredded fish is dried and can be eaten or used for cooking.

Cold fish fillets
