1September 1959 to1August 1964, studied in the Department of Architecture of Nanjing Institute of Technology (now the School of Architecture of Southeast University) and obtained a bachelor's degree. 1Feb. 1984 to1Feb. 1988, studied in the Habitat Research Center of the School of Engineering, University of Leuven, Belgium, and obtained a doctorate in architecture (hospital architectural planning and design). Worked in China Zhongyuan International Engineering Company since 1964.

Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital covers an area of 473.58 mu, with a hospital area of 450,000 square meters. This used to be the imperial palace of Ming and Qing dynasties. 1958, under the direct care of Premier Zhou Enlai, four military sanatoriums were merged into Beijing Xiaotangshan Sanatorium.
