Residents near the banks of the river often wash clothes, wash rice and fish in the water, which provides great convenience for people's daily life, but it also has a serious impact on the environment of the river.

2. Investigation and analysis

In the questionnaire survey, we found that most elders said that the rivers in the past were very clear, and there were some small fish and shrimps in the rivers. The riverside was their children's paradise when they were young. It is worth mentioning that there is a "front river" in front of Huang Hongye's house, which is a narrow and long river, and the riverside is paved with stone slabs. His father recalled that the river was crystal clear, and some small fish could be seen swimming freely when standing on the shore. People's domestic water is also taken from here. Our team members also conducted a field investigation on the current situation of Xiaohe in their spare time. Then, after a heated discussion, several members of our team divided the problem into the following aspects:

(1) Sanbei Town has developed rapidly in recent years, and people's living standards have been improving day by day. Private enterprises have mushroomed, and most of these factories are built by the river, which has a great impact on water quality. Textile mills and rubber factories, in particular, not only emit a lot of harmful gases, but also emit a lot of toxic industrial wastewater. For example, after the excavation of the clipper port, it bears the heavy transportation burden from west to east, and a rubber factory has been built by the river. The discharged sewage makes the river more and more dirty, and it usually gives off a stench. The bodies of floating fish can often be found in the river. The clipper port, which was originally used for people to wash clothes and wash rice, is no longer useful. Unconsciously, its function seems to have been forgotten by people.

(2) People often dump garbage into the river because of their weak awareness of environmental protection. So all kinds of domestic garbage can be seen everywhere on the river. Menqian River is the dirtiest river we found in our investigation. Usually, you can see discarded fast food boxes, plastic bags, wine bottles, foam ... and even the bodies of some poultry and livestock floating on the water, which has become a natural domestic garbage recycling station. The mud deposited on the slate beside the river denounced people's evil deeds. The original beautiful and tidy river has become terrible. When people clean themselves, they leave all the dirt in front of the river.

VI. Suggestions after the investigation:

Through the investigation, our team members found many problems, and through the group discussion, we would like to make the following suggestions:

(1) We hope that the relevant departments of the town government can strengthen the management and removal of rivers, clean up weeds and control sewage by arranging cleaners regularly, and return the river to a clear and tidy environment. Our town is building a new countryside, and we believe that Sanbei Town with beautiful environment will be richer.

(2), "harmony" is the theme of the new century, and the harmony between man and nature is one of the important contents. The economy should develop, but not at the expense of the natural environment. In view of the problems of sewage and waste residue discharged by factories along the river, we think that the town government should take relevant measures, formulate some rules and regulations, and force each unit to implement them. Violation should be punished accordingly. It is best to conduct the appraisal of "environmental protection units" and judge the manufacturers who have done the best environmental protection work. Several manufacturers who do not do well in environmental protection can be criticized by name on the radio or posted in the publicity column of the town government, and fined as punishment.

As a member of our hometown, we love our hometown and care about the environment around us. Therefore, we have conducted a series of investigations on the environmental pollution in Linyi in our spare time, hoping to understand the present environmental situation in our hometown, find out the countermeasures to improve the environment in our hometown and do our part for the environmental protection in our hometown.

II Investigation Process and Results

In this investigation, we collected information and data in various ways, and tried our best to obtain first-hand information, so as to truly and accurately reflect the original appearance of things. Under the guidance of the instructor, we went to the library to consult a series of books, newspapers and periodicals in order to better understand the general situation of our hometown, historical evolution and development planning; Requested the relevant environmental monitoring data from the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau; Spot observation and water sampling in urban areas; Investigated the situation of sewage discharge and treatment in several enterprises; I visited some residents in the city and got to know their understanding of environmental pollution and their views on its harm. It is very difficult to comprehensively reflect the present situation of environmental pollution in a region and make an accurate evaluation. Limited by our own ability, we can only make some superficial evaluations on the present situation, influence and trend of the environment in our hometown by combining subjective estimation with quantitative analysis.

(I) Field observation process and results

In this field survey in the city, we selected six observation sites (rubber dam in yi river, pedestrian street in the western suburbs, near the First Experimental Primary School, near the city exhibition hall, near Ronghua Industrial Park and near Nandao Village Committee) to investigate the air and water pollution. The observation shows that Linyi's atmosphere is still in good condition, and there is a little irritating smell in the atmosphere near the industrial zone in the western suburbs of the city, and the atmospheric visibility is not too high on sunny days. There is a certain degree of water pollution in some places. For example, the water in qinglong river River near the First Experimental Primary School in the city is turbid, giving off a bad smell, and the PH value of the water sample shows that it is acidic. Through consulting the data, we know that the black and smelly water quality is the result of excessive ammonia nitrogen content in the water, which leads to eutrophication of the water body. According to the investigation, this situation is mainly caused by the direct discharge of untreated domestic sewage into rivers and water bodies. At the same time, we also found that in the lower reaches of the river, excavators are dredging. It is understood that the relevant government departments are vigorously harnessing this river, and the water in this river section is expected to become clear in a few months.

(II) Investigation results of enterprises

We visited several paper mills and steel pipe mills, and found that all these enterprises have certain pollution control facilities, and the quality of the discharged wastewater is good, which can meet the discharge requirements, and some enterprises can recycle the treated water.

According to the survey, many people think that the environment in Linyi is much worse than it was ten years ago. Respondents have put forward opinions and views on how to protect our environment, and they also expressed their willingness to start from themselves and participate in environmental protection work to do their part to make our Linyi city more beautiful. It can be seen that people still attach great importance to the surrounding environment and their awareness of environmental protection is also very strong.

through this survey, we know that with the rapid development of industrial and agricultural production, it has created unprecedented material wealth for human beings, but at the same time it has paid a heavy price for the environment. Ecological destruction and environmental pollution have posed a serious threat to human survival and development. Solving environmental problems has become an urgent and important task. To change the current environmental situation, it is far from enough to rely solely on the efforts of the environmental protection department.
