1. Personal experience I am a grade 19 classmate of Nanchang Institute of Technology. I think our school is generally good. Except for the expensive tuition, private schools are normal.
But one good thing about private schools is that they attach great importance to students’ opinions and feelings. Each of our students has the right to put forward opinions on life and teaching, and they will all respond.
One thing that left a deep impression on me was that the snacks sold in the shop downstairs in the dormitory had a very strong smell, and the clothes we dried had a smell. At that time, I called the student service center to complain, and then the management staff went to tell the shop owner.
, removed everything.
In terms of life, I feel that the school treats us very well and basically responds to our requests.
In contrast, the study aspect is relatively strict. We have to hand over our mobile phones in class, and we feel that we do not have strong self-control.
Last year, the school spent 7 million to install cameras in all classrooms. They have 360-degree blind spots and are clear enough to see what you are writing. Yes, they are camera equipment that meets the requirements for the college entrance examination.
But students should focus on their studies. Although so many cameras make me feel a little uncomfortable, I can still accept it. I want to learn but love to have fun, so I am happy to have someone supervise my studies.
2. Accommodation conditions: Each of our dormitories is air-conditioned, and the electricity bill is shared equally between each dormitory. There is no need to pay water bills.
My dormitory faces the north and is always cooler. It is turned on in June and September. In winter, my roommates and I don’t like to turn on the heating because it makes it stuffy. Unless it’s extremely cold, we usually don’t turn it on.
If you don't turn on the air conditioner, you don't have to pay the electricity bill for 50 yuan per semester, and it's easy to use your mobile phone.
Our girls' dormitories are all 4-bed rooms, and some of the boys' dormitories are 8-bed rooms, but the two rooms are large and have a bed and table structure.
Each dormitory has a sink, washing machine, water dispenser, and private bathroom with shower, all of which cost money.
Then we have a large dryer in one building, because it is difficult to dry in the cold weather in the south, but it also costs money.
Some dormitories are very quiet downstairs and there is nothing. Some dormitories happen to have a commercial street just downstairs. It is quite convenient to buy daily necessities. Moreover, the school has a dedicated department to manage the sanitation and environment of the commercial street. What activities are there?
As soon as someone complains that it is too noisy, the leadership will immediately stop it, unless the activity is requested by a student group.
3. Canteens and restaurants There are one to five canteens, all of which are similar in price. They have meals, spicy hotpot, noodles, and cakes. There are so many delicious things.
I haven’t eaten them all in three years. As for Bai Laijia, although the dishes in these stores remain the same, if I get tired of this one, I’ll switch to another one. There are a lot of things I haven’t tried, and the commercial street also has a lot of delicious food.
Let me list a few representatives that I personally like in the canteen.
Yi Canteen is very affordable. Although the price is similar to the other restaurant, the portions are generous and the service attitude is also very good.
This is what I have been eating since my freshman year. Their signature fish noodle is particularly good. You must add more lettuce and snail noodles, both of which are about 12.
I think the worst food in the second cafeteria is fish, and it only costs more than ten yuan, which really makes me excited.
There is nothing I like about the first floor of San Canteen, but the small hot pot on the second floor is great.
The rice rolls from Sister-in-law Xiong’s house in Si Canteen and the vermicelli pot are my favorites. They are very affordable and plentiful.
The Xinjiang fried rice noodles in the halal canteen are absolutely authentic, but a bit expensive. Many of the chefs in the halal canteen are from Xinjiang.
Overall, the prices are about the same. Breakfast usually costs 3 to 5 yuan, dinners mostly cost 9 yuan for one meat and one vegetarian dish, and eating something else costs 15 to 20 yuan.
The most expensive thing to eat is Malatang, but no matter how much you eat, it only costs 30 yuan.
4. Sports facilities: There are two large basketball courts, one in the north and a large playground (including football field and basketball court) in the south. There are several table tennis tables next to the east gate, covering a large area.
There is also a large playground that has been built since I was a sophomore. According to our teacher, it was planned to be a large stadium with venues for all sports. I probably won’t be able to see it before I graduate.
5. The school environment currently has only one campus, No. 998 Chuangye South Road, Shengmi Town, Xinjian District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province.
There is a small yellow car in the school. If you are about to be late for class, you can take a ride, especially in the morning. Don’t ask me how I know this. The question is that I often get up late and almost be late.
There are also two commercial streets in the school, with more than 200 shops in the school. Even if some of them cannot continue to operate, there will soon be new shop owners selling snacks, milk tea and snacks, clothes and trinkets, and beauty salons.
Our school is also very big. Even if we go shopping, we can spend an entire afternoon there.
It's relatively deserted outside the school. Our school is in the suburbs. If you want to go out for fun, take a taxi, or take the No. 836 bus to the subway station.
But next year we won’t have to go through such trouble. A subway station has been built right in front of our school. It’s still in the testing stage. It will be more convenient to go out in the future.
