I am honored to be a senior student of Guilin University of Electronic Science and Technology to introduce to you my alma mater, a beautiful and charming place.

As a student majoring in computer science and technology, I have experienced a lot in school, and I would like to share some of my experiences and conclusions with my fellow students who are about to choose our university.

Guilin University of Electronic Science and Technology, we refer to it as "Guigong", is located in Guilin City.

There are Jinjiling Campus, Liuhe Road Campus and Huajiang Campus, with a total campus area of ??4153 acres.

Guigong is not only one of the top four well-known schools in Guangxi Province, but also very famous among science and engineering schools across the country. The country is also focusing on supporting our school. It is said that funds have been injected to cultivate and develop new projects.

Therefore, we are still highly valued, and there is no problem with the teaching staff.

In terms of life: When you first enter the campus, you will definitely have great expectations for the school. The three major campuses are all a certain distance from the city center. When you first arrive, the school will arrange for members of the student union and volunteers to visit major train stations.

Pick-up service is available, but this service is only available during the two days of registration.

And there are no direct road signs on the road, so you need a map on your mobile phone to find it by yourself. I believe most of the maps in the admission notice issued by the school are incomprehensible, so give up... Baidu or asking locals is a good choice.

It doesn't matter if you want to come early to play with your parents. There are many private cars going to major campuses when you come out of the train station. You may not dare to take them when you first arrive, but sometimes I still do when the train is late and there are no cars.

Taking this kind of ride is more convenient after all, but if you are a girl, it depends on the situation. After all, it is not very safe.

After arriving at school, you need to buy some items. At the beginning of school, there will be some vendors selling daily necessities at the entrance of the canteen and cafeteria. If you want to go to a more formal supermarket, you need to take a bus to the center of the city, but it will take more time, about

It takes forty or fifty minutes.

But I think there’s nothing wrong with going out for a walk. After all, you’re going to stay here for four years, so you can’t stay in the dormitory all the time, right?

Really, if you don’t go out for a walk during your freshman and sophomore years, you will have no enthusiasm at all by the time you are a junior or senior student, and you will be too lazy to go out. This is the voice of an old senior.

So, it’s better to go out and travel more while you are young and energetic.

In terms of accommodation, don’t worry, there are beds and tables for six people, and some dormitories also have air conditioning!

This is great news for those who are afraid of heat.

Some dormitories are not fully air-conditioned yet, but they are being installed and can be used.

Anyway, I hadn’t pretended yet, and I was afraid of the heat, so I applied to stay overnight. However, it was actually not safe outside and it was very troublesome to go back every time. I still don’t recommend sleeping outside. In fact, the dormitory would be much more convenient.

Some campuses have four-person and six-person rooms. The toilet and bathroom are together, which can be regarded as a private bathroom. The six-person or eight-person room has two toilets.

Moreover, the appearance of the dormitory looks very new, and the school is very big. You can prepare a bicycle or a small electric donkey, which will make your daily life much more convenient. Students from other provinces can inherit the transportation of seniors who have graduated from the fourth year, which will be much cheaper.

The most annoying thing is the rainy days in Guilin. It won't stop at once. It can rain continuously for more than a month. I wouldn't believe it!

And it’s just like splashing water, don’t even think about getting wet when you go out, haha, don’t even think about it!

Of course, summer is also very hot, so just bring more short sleeves. As for those spring and autumn clothes, you don’t need to bring them, because they are completely useless. Guilin enters summer or winter quickly, and there is almost no transition in a few days.

Time, in winter, cotton-padded clothes must also be prepared, this is a necessity!

If you have a meal card, you can top it up with some money. Students who often eat in the cafeteria don't have to queue up to recharge, which is much more convenient. Even if the meal card is lost and reissued, the money in it will still be there.

However, if you lose your meal card, you must report the loss immediately!

The worst thing about the school is that the money in the water card cannot be replenished. For example, if you lose the card and you just recharged the water card with 50 yuan, the 50 yuan will be wasted. The water card you just applied for is one point.

No money at all!

I really don’t understand why this is the case and why they can’t all be made up for. I’m very dissatisfied with this!

So it’s really important to recharge your water card less!

Washing machines can also be placed in dormitories, but the power should not be too large, which may be more necessary for boys' dormitories.

Turn Left | Turn Right Study: The library is almost always open, and certain floors of the library are air-conditioned!

Students who want to study comfortably can go to the library early to study. Everyone wakes up early in the morning and queues up to study hard in order to have air conditioning. I think this is very motivating. In order to study comfortably, what does it mean to get up early?

Hahahaha.

However, occasionally the temperature of the air conditioner in the library will be turned on very low, so it is recommended to bring an extra layer of clothes.

The library and canteen will have corresponding cards. If you lose them, you need to go to the corresponding place to get a replacement.

The re-applying procedures are very troublesome, and they all have to be done during working days. There is nothing wrong with the school's management system, but the troublesome procedures are really not good.

So don’t lose the card!

One of the most important things in college is choosing courses!

I remember that when I was choosing courses in my freshman year, there were too many people and the system was paralyzed. I couldn’t even browse the page. It was a garbage page.

I had no choice but to study all day, and then got up in the middle of the night to select courses before I could choose them. It was relatively early in my junior year to select courses. In fact, it would be easier to ask the senior brothers and sisters I knew to help me grab them together.
